The expert behind Hailey Bieber's fluffy brows just told us the 2026 brow trends (and tricks) worth trying

Anastasia Soare to the rescue

Editor / January 07 2026

The holiday season may have sadly passed, but that means 2026 brow trends have arrived, and if you're as obsessed with eyebrows as we are, that's something worth celebrating.

But to ensure you're getting only the greatest advice on how to shape, tint and style your precious arches, we made sure to seek recommendations from the most trusted brow artist in Hollywood, Anastasia Soare.

In addition to her role as the founder of one of our most beloved brow brands, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Soare still personally shapes the brows of celebrities from Hailey Bieber to Kendall Jenner.

So what's trending for the year ahead? Allow Soare to let you in on a few secrets...

2026 Brow Trends

Soare's summary? "The bigger idea for 2026 is this: brows should look effortless, but they’re never accidental. They’re intentional, balanced, and deeply personal."

2026 Brow Trends: Brow Shapes

"In 2026, brow shape will no longer be about trends—it will be about proportion," says Soare. "The right brow is the one that brings balance to the face: eye shape, bone structure, forehead, lips, everything working together."

"I always say brows are architecture, not decoration. When visiting a brow expert, readers should ask for a shape that enhances their natural features and restores harmony, not a copy-and-paste brow they saw online."

Celebrity brows can certainly offer a starting point of inspo: "Great inspiration comes from Kim Kardashian, Hailey Bieber, Kendall Jenner, Oprah Winfrey, and Jennifer Lopez," Soare explains.  However, it's important to translate any look to your own face, tailoring it to fit your own features. "I love brows that feel powerful, timeless, and authentic," Soare confirms.

2026 Brow Trends: Brow Tinting

“The focus is soft dimension, not heavy colour," Soare notes. "Volumising tinted gels are essential because they add fullness while keeping brows looking natural and wearable. Tinting should enhance what’s already there, not overpower it. Think ‘your brows, just better’.”

2026 Brow Trends: Brow Styling

"The defining brow of 2026 is undetectably natural. The key technique is working with two shades," explains Soare.

"Use one shade slightly lighter than your natural brow to softly build shape and fullness—this mimics the density of a naturally full brow. Tools like Brow Wiz ($48 at Sephora), Brow Definer ($49 at Sephora), or Brow Powder ($49 at Sephora) work beautifully here."

"Then use a shade that matches your brow hair to add ultra-fine, hair-like strokes. Dipbrow ($42 at Sephora) applied with Brush #12 ($38 at Sephora) or the Microstroke Brow Pen ($47 at Sephora) creates realistic dimension without looking drawn on. The trick is restraint. Less pressure, lighter hand, more blending."

Are bleached brows trending for 2026?

"Bleached brows are tricky. They often turn orange if done incorrectly," Soare notes. "The safest approach is lifting only one shade lighter than the natural brow. A crucial tip: after removing the bleach, apply aloe vera and leave it on for about five minutes. This stops the lightening process and leaves a much more beautiful, controlled result."

Are laminated brows trending for 2026?

"Laminated brows are long gone," says Soare. "The look is still desirable, but the harsh process isn’t. Today we have products that achieve that lifted, polished effect without damaging the hair—Brow Freeze Wax ($47 at Sephora) for a medium hold or Brow Freeze Gel ($48 at Sephora) for extreme hold."
