The blush BEAUTYcrew's editors wear every day

"I have blush blindness, but I can apply as much of this as I want"

Beauty Crew Beauty Editor / August 07 2025

Here at BEAUTYcrew, blush is one makeup product our editors actually use, as well as one of the items they can't live without.

Whether we're imitating our natural flush after a run with the workout blush trend, or stippling the stuff down our cheeks (like Devon Aoki's signature boyfriend blush), it's the makeup product we can rely on to revive a dull complexion.

There's also a shade and formula to suit everyone's tastes, so even if you're scared of cheek colour, you can still elevate your makeup with a subtle blush topper or a blonzer in your kit.

Haven't found your favourite blush formula yet? Ahead, BEAUTYcrew's editors share the blushes they wear every day, and why they love them so much.

Rose Inc Cream Blush Refillable Cheek & Lip Colour

"My blush collection exclusively consisted of bubblegum pink shades until I tried 'Camellia' — a mauve-meets-pink-meets-nude shade from Rose Inc. The colour is subtle, soft and perfect for days when I feel like muting the shocking pink of the other blushes in my possession. But as much as I love the colour, it’s the finish of this cream formula that made me fall in love with it. I like to tap a dense complexion brush into the compact and press the colour into my cheeks to create a flawless, almost airbrushed finish. If my makeup is looking a bit drab, and my skin is dull and dry, a single layer of this stuff is enough to rescue my complexion in just a few seconds." Briar Clark, BEAUTYcrew's Beauty Editor

Merit Flush Balm

"One product that will never leave my makeup bag is blush I firmly believe in applying a little too much blush (if there is such a thing), because it’s always the first product to fade on the skin. Which is why I love the Merit Flush Balm in 'Stockholm' it’s the perfect natural, yet buildable product that gives a delightful flush to the skin. While all the colours are divine, I’m obsessed with the baby pink, youthful glow that Stockholm gives me. It’s a super creamy and lightweight blush, and can be used on both the cheeks and lip for a monochromatic look. With a satin finish, and infused with vitamin E, it looks great on the skin all day!" Maddy Wilson, BEAUTYcrew's Shopping Content Producer

The shade is a combination of a plum and deep pink colour, the texture is so smooth, and it blends like a dream! Patrick Ta Major Headlines Double-Take Creme & Powder Blush

"I’m almost embarrassed to admit how impatiently I waited for this creme and powder blush combo palette to come back into stock at Sephora. The shade 'She’s A Doll' was the precise punchy pink tone I had been wanting to try, and I was hearing rave reviews about its longevity and dewiness. It definitely delivered upon arrival, I’m glad to say. I’m a fiend for blush but find that it’s usually MIA by 11am regardless of overzealous application. The combo of these two finishes, however, meant that the cloud of pink colour didn’t budge until cleanser got involved at EOD. I like to apply the powder with a fluffy brush, then double down using a denser brush to add the creme for a fresh candy pink glossiness that locks in both layers." — Delaney Loane, BEAUTYcrew’s Editor

Hydrating, dewy cream formula

Rare Beauty Positive Light Liquid Luminizer

"I might not be a blush girly (a sin I know), but that doesn’t mean I don’t want a little something on my cheekbones. I use Rare Beauty Positive Light Liquid Luminizer in the shade 'Transcend' as a blush topper; I apply the shimmering, sheer, pearlescent pink-toned illuminator to the tops of my cheekbones, where highlighter is traditionally placed. The dewy lightweight formula blends effortlessly and leaves my cheeks with a fresh, healthy glow." — Emma Allcock, BEAUTYcrew's Content Producer
