Introducing Australia's answer to the Kar-Jenner's, the Hembrow sisters. Except instead of drama and BBLs, these women are working hard to create a meaningful empire. With Tammy Hembrow already well known for her fitness routines, she's teamed up with two of her powerhouse sisters (Amy and Emilee) to launch a new brand, focusing on women's health.

Enter: Selfish Supps, designed by women, for women. The sisters decided to create the brand to cut through all the male-focused supplements you see in store.

So, to find out more about the exciting new launch and get a little extra beauty goss from the sisters, BEAUTYcrew chatted with Tammy, Amy and Emilee.

Hembrow Sisters Interview

Tell us about Selfish Supps

With women representing 40 per cent of the 'sport nutrition' market, the male-dominated, gym bro-centric language, packaging and flavours aren't reflective of it.

So, the Hembrow sisters have launched Selfish Supps. With female nutritional needs in mind, stunning flavours and cute packaging, the range is about to transform the fitness industry. To get all their inside intel, we asked Tammy, Amy and Emilee a series of questions, starting with, why Selfish?

Both Tammy and Amy reiterated that it came from the guilt that women feel for putting themselves first. Woman are made to feel selfish for going for a walk or going to the gym, "but you can’t fill from an empty cup, and women shouldn’t feel guilty for prioritising their needs."

Like we said, this delicious range has been designed with women in mind (although the formulas are suitable for everyone). Amy and Emilee shared that they wanted to create a product that lets women feel comfortable, empowered and supported within their communities. Because throughout this process, one of their unexpected learnings was the amount of misinformation about women's nutrition. Amy can now see why women think protein supplements are for gym junkies, but they're looking to change that stigma.

But you'll want to know their faves before hitting the shops (available online at Selfish Supps and Chemist Warehouse).

Emilee is "obsessed with the flavour" of the Hydrate Me ($47 at Selfish Supps); the "delicious" flavour is pink lemonade in case you were wondering.

Amy is all in on Balance My Gut ($47 at Selfish Supps). "Your gut is the centre of everything and impacts everything from bloating and digestion to your focus and skin health. We’re always recommending to our clients at Sskin to focus on both topical and ingestible solutions so I love being able to now recommend gut support that actually tastes good."

Tammy "takes every product every day" but her main love is their proteins. It's important to her to let women know about supplementing protein because we're just not getting enough. She says the Give Me Plant Protein (available in chocolate or vanilla) is "perfect for smoothies or protein pancakes", while the Give Me Protein Water (available in tropical crush and very berry) is super "refreshing for an afternoon top up".

What do your beauty routines look like?

When it comes to skin care routines, there's no one hard and fast rule, not even between sisters. Amy loves a quiet night where she can make time to "slow down and indulge" in a full 12-step routine, but for the most part, its a "simple effective routine that gets [her] out the door". Tammy is always looking for something simple and quick, while Emilee has a one step morning routine but a 12-step evening routine.

Their everyday essentials? Emilee can't leave home without a lip liner, lip balm and a tinted SPF. Tammy opts for concealer a lip liner or a lip tint and occasionally bronzing drops or a cheek tint. And Amy keeps it minimal but luxe using the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk ($120 at Adore Beauty), Rare Beauty Blush and some bronzer — which she also sweeps over her eyelids — to help her feel fresh.

As for their affordable beauty faves, Amy finds the MCoBeauty Everyday Ultra Clean Cleansing Balm Cleanser ($32 at Woolworthsmelts away her make up and feels so luxe, especially given the price. Tammy is a big fan of the cult classic Mielle Rosemary Mint Scalp and Hair Oil ($36.95 at Price Attack). And Emilee enjoys the MCoBeauty Peptide LipTreatment ($18 at Woolworths).

Do you have any workout tips?

While all of the sisters make an effort around working out, their routines look vastly different.

Tammy, expectedly works out in the gym utilising her TammyFit programs. Her latest focus? "Prioritising stretching". While Emilee opts for at-home 15 minute workout sessions, along with keeping her steps up. As for Amy, she's "never loved going to the gym"; instead, her routine centeres around gentle movement and mediation, leaving her "body feeling really strong, rather than worn out and tired."

Tammy's top tip for hitting the gym is to have a plan, because "when you go in blind, the amount of machines is really overwhelming" so having a plan can take the stress away, and help you not to feel judged in the space. Because she wants everyone to know that people are "paying attention to themselves, not you".

And if you do feel intimidated by hitting the gym Emilee wants you to know that it's a totally common experience that even she's felt before.
