Miley Cyrus wore a full face of affordable makeup to the 2025 Grammy Awards

Maybe it's Maybelline?

Miley Cyrus always gives her fans something to look at when she makes a red carpet appearance.

The Grammy Awards, in particular, are when we see the singer premiere her more experimental hair, makeup, and fashion looks.

Case in point? In 2024, Cyrus rocked a sky-high hairdo to complement a Bob Mackie ensemble, which pushed the boundaries and left little to the imagination.

Now, a year later, the only thing that's sky-high about the singer's red carpet look at the 2025 Grammy Awards is her mascara, because her makeup artist, James Kaliardos, pieced together a powerful goddess makeup look using an entire face of Maybelline makeup products. Colour us impressed.

"Miley Cyrus is born with it [and] Maybelline turned up the heat," Kaliardos said via Instagram. "I went for a 'Powerful Goddess' look for the Grammy’s today — and Maybelline delivered."

The complexion makeup

Although Gracie Abrams Grammys makeup look didn't include foundation, Kaliardos used every Maybelline product at his disposal on the night to craft his powerful goddess aesthetic.

"[I used] Maybelline Grippy Serum Primer ($9.97 from Amazon) for a flawless base," he explained via Instagram.

Then he applied the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Multi-Use Concealer in the shade '120' ($11.49 from Priceline) under the singer's eyes and in the centre of her face. Followed by the Maybelline SuperStay Lumi-Matte Foundation in shade '115' ($17.49 from Priceline) — "for that luminous matte finish".

Finally, Kaliardos applied Maybelline's new Lifter Stix Creamy Multi-Use Makeup Stick in the shade 'Neutral 20' (which will hopefully be available in Australia soon) for dimension, and Maybelline's Sunkisser Liquid Glow Blush + Vitamin E in 'Downtown Rush' ($14.95 from Beauty Bay) for that just-right flush.

The eyes and arches

The eyes were definitely the focus of this makeup look, so Kaliardos opted for softly defined brows — he used a combination of Maybelline's Superfluff Brow Fluffy Brow Mousse in the shades 'Soft Brown' and 'Blonde' ($20.75 from Beauty Bay) to achieve this.

He added a little smokey depth to the eyes by accentuating the 32 year old's lash line with Maybelline's Tattoo Liner Gel Pencil Eyeliner ($8.99 from Priceline) and Maybelline's Master Precise Liquid Eyeliner ($9.99 from Priceline).

He lengthened and volumised Cyrus' lashes with Maybelline's Sky High Mascara in the shades 'Very Black' and 'Brownish Black' ($12.99 from Priceline), and blended Maybelline's Colour Tattoo 24H Eye Stix in the shades 'I am Rare' and 'I am Courageous' ($13.69 from Amazon Australia) all over her lids.

The lip combo

To create the singer's uniquely peachy lip shade for the event Kaliardos lined her lips with Maybelline's Lifter Liner in the shades 'On It' and 'Line Leader' ($9.99 from Priceline).

He then filled in her pout with the Maybelline Superstay Teddy Tint Lipstick in 'Knee High' ($15.99 from Chemist Warehouse) for a blurred matte finish, followed up by a healthy layer of Maybelline's Lifter Plump Lip Plumping Gloss in 'Hot Honey' ($34 from Pretty Little Thing) for a glossy, plump finish.

Miley Cyrus wasn't the only celebrity with a budget-friendly makeup look at the Grammys. Sabrina Carpenter wore this $12 beauty product to the 2025 Grammy Awards.
