BIODERMA Hydrabio Gel-Crème Moisturiser

I have an obsession with french skin care that won't stop (and i don't want it to),so as an already avid Bioderma devotee,I had to give this a go. During the warmer months,as a dry skinned girl,i still have to moisturise,but i much prefer a lighter,more gel textured product to wear during the muggy,humid days,and this was a winner from the get go.I love that it's lightweight so I don't feel like my face is an oil slick, and it doesn't bother my sun burned (yep,at times) skin....rather,it soothes it. But what of the texture you ask ? Well,Hydrabio is a light gel textured moisturizer, which is great for summer(as i said,or in winter if you tend to run a little oilier) when I don't want anything like a thick layer of moisturizer on my skin.One thing i did like was the fact that this was a tiny bit richer than some gels i have tried,which means It doesn't spread quite as easily as other gel formulas, so I need an extra pump or two to coat my entire face & neck,but the results are worth it (the formula absorbs quickly, which is always a bonus). You will note that there is a slight fragrance to the gel creme, but it disappears quickly,and is pleasant in itself.And the tube ? Some people hate the design of the bottle, but as long as you keep the pump down when you use it, it's fine,and it gives out a lovely metered dose. So all in all,this product from Bioderma is brilliant for a summer moisture boost if you hate a heavy cream in humidity (and an oil slick to navigate along with makeup...this plays very,very well with BB cream or a light foundation) and is a must if you are oilier skinned at any time of year.Give it a try.I know at $43 it is a tiny bit exxy,but trust me,a little works wonders. TIP:Try this with a gel type serum at night for a real skin - loving cocktail that leaves you to wake with glowing skin.
