Sydney Sweeney's makeup artist swears by this hack for long-lasting blush
Here at BEAUTYcrew, we collect beauty hacks like Pokemon.
As a result we've mastered the no-makeup makeup look, discovered the best lip combinations, and learned a makeup trick (or two) to hide wrinkles.
But when we spotted Melissa Hernandez (AKA the genius behind Sydney Sweeney's makeup) sporting the most perfect flush of blush we'd every seen, we had to know how she did it. Luckily for us, Hernandez is more than happy to share her wisdom with her Instagram followers *ahem* us.
"If your blush fades fast, or disappears on camera, try layering cream under powder," Hernandez said via Instagram.
"Lately, I've been loving Dior Backstage Rosy Glow Stick ($79 from Sephora) as a creamy base, then setting it with the matching [Dior Backstage Rosy Glow] powder blush ($72 from Sephora)," she explained. "The cream blends seamlessly, and gives the skin that juicy, fresh flush, while the powder builds dimension, and locks in colour without [looking cakey]."

The best long-lasting blush...
Using Hernandez's blush principles, it's not hard to get the most out of any blush in your collection, but we've hunted down a handful of options regardless.
For a rosy flush, try Haus Labs By Lady Gaga Color Fuse Glassy Blush Balm Stick in 'Glassy Rosette' ($59 from Sephora) and Haus Labs By Lady Gaga Color Fuse Blush Powder in 'French Rosette' ($55 from Sephora).
While, deeper skin tones can get away with berry shades like YSL Make Me Blush Blurring Liquid Blush in '54 Berry Bang' ($85 from YSL Beauty) and YSL Make Me Blush Bold Blurring Powder Blush in '54 Berry Bang' ($98 from YSL Beauty).
Alternatively, blush palettes that include cream, powder, and blush topper options are perfect for the budget conscious.
We like Patrick Ta's Major Headlines Double-Take Creme & Powder Blush in 'She Goes To The Gym' ($68 from Sephora), Morphe's Cheek Thrills Multi Finish Face Trio in 'Cabana Club' ($31 from MECCA), and Sephora Collection's Blush Blush Blush Palette in '02 Sunset Chaser' ($36 from Sephora).
