If you asked us our favourite Jennifer Lawrence movie, it's obviously No Hard Feelings. Or The Hunger Games. Or Silver Linings Playbook. Okay, fine, this is a hard decision. But if you asked us our favourite Jennifer Lawrence makeup look, it's crystal clear: the glossy red lip look she just graced the New York premiere of her latest film Die My Love wearing.

It’s not ‘glossy’ per se, but there’s a definite sheen involved, something that is hard to find in the red lipstick department, and quite frankly, even harder to get right. Lawrence has truly nailed it, with the help of her phenomenal makeup artist Georgie Eisdell.

Of course, we refused to rest until we identified exactly what her stunning lip colour (or rather, combo) was. And as soon as we did, we just knew we had to share it with you...

Jennifer Lawrence’s lip combination was made up of two stunning Dior products: a liner and a lipstick. Eisdell applied the Dior Rouge Dior Contour Lip Liner Pencil ($51 at Myer) first. Now this is a true luxury lip liner: it’s creamy, glides on effortlessly and doesn’t move once applied. The colour is stunning, the pigment is rich, and the precision makes carving out the cupid’s bow a breeze.

As for the lipstick itself, Lawrence wore the Dior Rouge Dior On Stage Shine Lipstick ($72 at Myer). See? Shine. It’s back. And it’s actually chic this time around. The elevated look stems from the richness of the red colour. It’s not a bright cherry red, but more of a deep ruby, so the slight sheen reads as expensive and classic, instead of too flashy or over the top.

It's going to be hard to beat this lip look for the upcoming festive season. It's a good thing the formulas are both long-wearing (and well worth the luxury price tags); we'll be wearing this exact Jennifer Lawrence-approved combo to every event on the calendar.
