The MECCA advent calendar is here and it's really affordable

Pre-Christmas gift anyone?

Beauty Crew Beauty Editor / October 23 2025

MECCA is a go-to superstore stocked full of all the best beauty buys a human being could possibly ever need. So it should come as no surprise that when the festive season starts it’s also the best place to shop for beauty Christmas gifts and advent calendars. But somehow, every year, the beauty retailer's advent calendars surpass all expectations.

Case in point? The 2025 MECCA MAX advent calendar isn't just stocked full of favourites — it's also really affordable.

We’ve taken the liberty of giving you the rundown on everything you need to know about the covetable calendar so you can purchase as quickly as possible, before they fly off shelves, and are gone forever.

When can you buy the MECCA MAX advent calendar

Mecca releases most of their advent calendars in late October or November to ensure customers can purchase well before the 1st of December, which is usually the first day of an advent calendar. They’re also only available while stocks last so it pays to be prepared and purchase an advent calendar as soon as possible.

Where to buy the MECCA MAX advent calendar

This one may seem obvious (duh, Mecca), but given the finite nature of these advent calendars and their rep for selling-out just a mere few days or weeks after they’re released, we recommend shopping online at MECCA rather than trying to find the limited edition gift set in store.

While MECCA has over 100 stores across Australia and New Zealand, not all of them stock every single advent calendar available online. But, you can browse an advent calendar’s availability in-store via the brand’s website on each product page under the product’s description, if you’d like to physically inspect the product in person before you purchase. However, buying online at the MECCA website ensures you have an overview of available advent calendar stock.

How much does the MECCA MAX advent calendar cost

The MECCA MAX Max Moments 12-Piece Beauty Advent Calendar is currently $75 online and in-store at MECCA, which is why it's a great option if you're looking for a more affordable beauty advent calendar at MECCA.

What's inside the MECCA MAX advent calendar

The MECCA MAX Max Moments 12-Piece Beauty Advent Calendar ($75 from MECCA) contains 12 mini everyday essentials and limited-edition highlights from the MECCA MAX range.

There's 2.4g Single Shadow in the shade 'Shapeshifter' and 'Over It', as well as a 0.9g Eyeliner and a 2.2g Eyeshadow Crayon to create a holiday eye look.

The advent calendar also features a 5g Marbled Blush, and 4.5ml Bronzing Drops and Liquid Highlight. Plus, a 2.2ml Glaze Phase Lip Oil in the shade 'Cosmic Glaze' and a 0.9g Lip Pencil.

There are also every day makeup accessories for you to use too like a limited edition MECCA MAX key chain, Triangle Powder Puff, and a Flat Eyeshadow Brush.

MECCA's calendar certainly isn't the only one you should have your eyes on though. We've already rounded up the 41 calendars worth treating yourself to, but here are a few of our standout favourites...
