How to get Selena Gomez's angelic bridal manicure

We did our research so you don't have to

As far as celebrity engagements go, there are few that have excited us as much as Rare Beauty founder Selena Gomez’s nuptials to her music producer beau Benny Blanco.

The pair officially tied the knot on Saturday in an intimate garden ceremony; the same place that Blanco popped the question during a backyard picnic date.

Obviously Gomez’s makeup was gorgeous — she opted for a classic, soft glam look — but it was her angelic manicure that really caught our eye.

While most brides tend to go for timeless nude nails, Gomez opted for a very modern subtle shimmering chrome topcoat to differentiate her bridal manicure from the more natural finish of her engagement nails

What nail colour did Selena Gomez wear on her wedding day?

Gomez’s nail artist Tom Bachik used Chanel’s Le Vernis Nail Colour in '111 Ballerina' ($49 from David Jones) to create the Only Murders In The Building star’s pinky-nude engagement manicure.

As for her wedding day nails? Bachik actually teased us with an Instagram Reel in August of what appears to be the bride’s trial manicure in preparation for her big day.

In the video, Bachik applies a clear base coat using Tom Bachik Click Colors in ‘Super Clear’, then he dusts a veil of Tom Bachik Cosmic Chrome in ‘Angel’ over the top, and seals the look with a final coat of Super Clear.

The finished product is almost identical to Gomez’s bridal manicure, except it looks like the Rare Beauty founder opted for a nude base coat for her big day.

Thankfully, Bachik revealed a few days after the ceremony that he applied a few coats of Apres Sheer Couleur Gel Polish in the shade ‘When It Hits’ ($28.90 from Apres) over custom-fit Apres Gel-X Medium Length Coffin Tips ($42.99 from Apres). Then the nail artist layered his Cosmic Chrome nail dust in ‘Angel’ over the top, and sealed everything with a coat of the manicurist's Click Colors in ‘Super Clear’. Stunning.
