Inside Madelyn Cline's affordable makeup bag for the Vanity Fair party

PSA: There's a lot of new launches in there
Madelyn Cline is always one to watch on the red carpet because with the help of her makeup artist, Jennifer Luney Tioseco, she always manages to make affordable makeup products look effortlessly glamorous.
Last year at the Vanity Fair Oscars After Party, the Revlon Ambassador repped a full face of budget-friendly beauty buys from the brand, and this year was no different. Except for the fact that Cline's makeup rundown — which Tiseco revealed via Instagram — included a handful of Revlon products that have not been released down under yet.
Personally, we're really excited to try the assortment of complexion, cheek, and lip products that will inevitably become mainstays in a future iteration of our makeup kits. But, in the meantime, we've sourced some alternatives that you'll definitely find on the shelves of your local Chemist Warehouse and Priceline, or online at The Iconic.

She didn't wear any foundation
Clearly, Madelyn Cline's a lover of the no foundation trend we've seen on the red carpet lately, thanks to the likes of Gracie Abrams and Nicola Coughlan. Her makeup artist applied a base of Revlon's ColorStay™ Face + Body Glow Lotion in 'Glow Through It' instead. The sheer liquid illuminator isn't currently available in Australia, but L'Oréal Paris' LUMI Glotion in 'Light Glow' ($19.99 from Priceline) offers a similar radiant finish.
Tioseco applied Revlon's Glimmer Brightening Concealer under the eyes and to conceal any redness where necessary for a fresh and lifted look. Again, you won't find this pick down under, but the Revlon Illuminance™ Serum Concealer ($14.97 from Priceline) from the Australian-exclusive Illuminance™ range should do the trick. Both offer a sheer, skin-like finish that's undetectable once blended.
Revlon's Glimmer Blush Drops in 'Coralicious' (not available in Australia) added a natural flush of colour to Cline's cheeks, but you can imitate her lit from within glow with Revlon's Illuminance™ Glow Wand in 'Rose Glow' ($14.97 from Priceline).

She opted for her signature siren eyes and nude lip combo
Madelyn Cline's siren eyes are so synonymous with her overall aesthetic that we've meticulously studied her eyeliner routine — she always tight lines her lashes before drawing on a wing with a liquid liner.
For the Vanity Fair Oscars After Party, Tioseco applied the same technique using the classic Revlon ColorStay™ Eyeliner ($12.50 from Woolworths). However, she also used the gel liner to map out the shape, and as a primer, for Cline's winged eyeliner.
Revlon's ColorStay™ Lash Serum + Liner ($18.99 from Chemist Warehouse) was used to create Cline's signature feline flick, and then Tioseco applied a few coats of Revlon's ColorStay™ Full Time Mascara ($17.39 from Chemist Warehouse) to define the actress' lashes.
Cline always puts us on to the best nude lip shades available right now. Case in point? The Outerbanks star just introduced us to Revlon's Super Lustrous™ Glass Shine Balm in 'Glazed Mauve' — a new balmy lip colour that's not yet available in Australia. While you wait for the fresh formula to drop down under, Revlon's Super Lustrous™ Glass Shine in 'Nude Illuminator' ($19.69 from Chemist Warehouse) delivers the same glassy finish, with a bit more colour pay off.
Tioseco accented the flawless lip colour with Revlon's ColorStay™ Multi-Liner in 'Dynamic Doer', which we can't wait to launch here too — the multipurpose formula is obviously inspired by Make Up For Ever's Artist Color Pencil in 'Wherever Walnut' ($35 from The Iconic) — an iconic product in it's own right.
Then, later in the evening, Cline touched up her pout with a healthy coating of Revlon's Super Lustrous™ Glimmer Gloss in 'Diamond Drama' ($17.99 from Chemist Warehouse), which she kept stashed in her purse for dry lip emergencies. Honestly, so relateable.

Cline may have opted for affordable makeup for the evening, but Demi Moore wore a full face of viral products for the Oscars.
